About Us

A Family-Owned Mission to Support Uranium Workers

JDM Healthcare was founded with one goal: to provide dedicated, compassionate support for former uranium industry workers whose health has been affected by exposure. As a family-owned and operated provider, we approach care with the understanding, respect, and dependability every family deserves.

Recent Changes & 2025 Reauthorization

The law was previously set to expire.

  • On July 3, 2025, Congress reauthorized and expanded RECA under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. The reauthorization extended the deadline to file claims through December 31, 2027, and broadened eligibility criteria through 1990.
  • The benefit amounts for most categories were raised to a uniform $100,000

In the event the individual is deceased, survivors may apply on their behalf; payouts are distributed to the surviving spouse, children, or other eligible heirs as specified.

If you qualify for RECA as a uranium worker, onsite participant, or downwinder, you may also be eligible for EEOICPA Part B and/or Part E.

EEOICPA Does Provide Full Medical Benefits

If approved under EEOICPA Part B or E, you can receive:

  • 100% paid healthcare for all approved conditions
  • Paid travel to medical appointments
  • Home health care (sometimes 24/7)
  • Medical equipment/supplies
  • Prescriptions
  • Oxygen and durable equipment

Many RECA award recipients “roll into” EEOICPA and receive both:

  • RECA payment (from DOJ), and
  • Lifetime medical benefits plus additional compensation (from the Department of Labor under EEOICPA)

This is often thousands of dollars a month in approved medical care.
